Since 2006, KAI Kompetenzzentrum Automobil- und Industrieelektronik GmbH has been providing invaluable support to Austria's automakers and electronics manufacturers. This center was founded through a joint effort by Infineon and other key industrial players, as well as top academic minds in the field. The Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG and the Carinthian Economic Promotion Fund KWF are responsible for its continued operation and funding.
