Description
Multiple small and agile engineering teams are forming the HID Global site in Science Tower, Graz. The environment closely resembles a start-up because of the dynamic and R&D characteristics of the group, while having the support of a big corporation (AssaAbloy group has around 50k employees worldwide).We develop several complex technologies with the trust that the developers, test developers, architects and managers will use their creativity, skills and intelligence to deliver cutting edge solutions. Our colleague’s cooperation plays a critical role as well as the group diversity with every second person having a different nationality. Therefore, we love to discuss technical challenges in front of a white board and to celebrate our small and big wins. In total, our R&D office has around twelve engineers which are supported by the site management and HR personal.

- The Core Firmware team is all about working with cutting-edge technologies and being passionate about it. That resonated well with what I was looking for in a job, and now I am part of the team.

- My workday is split between contributing to the architecture and implementation of your projects and managing the team. I enjoy working on both, helping the team in solving both technical and organizational challenges.
- What do you like most about your job?
- What I really enjoy about the job is that I have the ability to work on modern embedded technologies as well as seeing the results of our work being used in products that are successfully sold all over the globe.
